Aerial Photography / Mapping Farms in Victoria

Hunter Aerial Photography Services recently mapped two large farming areas in Victoria. The first location was located just to the south west of Hamilton in Western Victoria and the second location was located just to the east of Bendigo.

The mapping operation was undertaken using our innovative portable camera pod system together with a Cessna 172 piloted aircraft out of Moorabbin airport in Melbourne. The operation was completed in just over 8 hours flight time which inlcuded around 3 hours for the mapping and around 5 hours for transfers between mapped sites and Moorabbin Airport.

We also successfully trailed our new PPK equipment which provides improved accuracy for spatial data used for processing the images captured. Dual full frame 50MP cameras were used for the operation enabling the operation to capture both RGB and Near Infra Red images

Key statistics for the sites were:-
